Video “Breathe on Me Breath of God" UMH#420 Responsive Reading Psalm 84:1 and 10-12 Leader: How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty. People: A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of the Lord than live the “good life” in the homes of the wicked. Leader: For the Lord God is our light and protector. He give us grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who do what is right. All: O Lord Almighty, happy are those who trust in you. O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord. For he alone is worthy. For he alone is worthy, For he alone is worthy. Christ the Lord. Unison Invocation Heavenly Father, gratitude comes hard to us. Boasting and blaming are easier, yet me trust that you know such things are products of our insecurities, fears, and ambitions. But now, in Your presence, in this place, with these other followers of Jesus, we are softened and find clarity and praise more compatible with what we truly believe. So on this day we humbly pause to praise you that when we gather in the name of Jesus Christ you are right here to disturb and renew us. Through Christ we pray. Amen. Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from thee. Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect, and use every power as You shall choose. Take my will, and make it Yours; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Your own; it shall be Your royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Your feet its treasure store.
