Pastoral Prayer, followed by The Lord’s Prayer, arranged by Albert Hay Malotte pre-recorded off-site by Chase Vanweerdhuizen Scripture Genesis 21:8-20 John 4:7-14 Message Abraham/Jefferson: Pain and Patriarchs by Chase Vanweerdhuizen Commitment Hymn: “Amazing Grace” Hymnal #378 Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; was blind but now I see. ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; ‘tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, his word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. Benediction: May the peace of the LORD Jesus go with you wherever he may send you. May he guide you through the wilderness, protect you through the storm. May he bring you home rejoicing at the wonders he has shown you. May he bring you home rejoicing once again into our doors.
