In Eastertide, we remember the resurrected Christ and we anticipate our own resurrection. We can celebrate this season by looking for signs of new life in the world around us. In the church calendar, Easter lasts for seven weeks, bringing us to the season of Pentecost. The colors that mark Easter are white and gold. Prayer List Hugh Homan is in the hospital in Meridian. Keep him in your prayers. James Boesch’s Aunt Cindy and his good friend Racquel passed away last week. Keep both families in your prayers. Continue to pray for Floyd’s brother Frank, the Williamsons, Irene Jeffries, Shannon Osborn, Mike’s brother Jerry, Ron’s brother Jim, James’ mom Mary, Terry Hershey Kathryn’s niece Emily and her soon to be born baby. Joe Johnson, a Nyssa police officer was killed in the line of duty. Pray for his family and coworkers. Upcoming Events No Monday Morning Coffee With the Pastor this week.
