Hi Everyone!                                                            June 6, 2024
I’ll start with a prayer request today. Ed and Sharon Parson’s grandson John Bell who is a roofer in north Idaho had a 30-foot fall on Tuesday off of a roof. He has several broken bones and a concussion and had his spleen removed. He will need more tests and lots of prayers. His doctors remarked that he is lucky to be alive. Also pray for safe travels home for his mom and stepdad as they traveled  to be with him.
I received more news about the golf tournament scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th. The cost to golf and use a golf cart will be $25 and lunch will be $11. Drinks are extra. Please plan to arrive by 9:15 to golf and 12:30 to join for lunch. If you haven’t signed up yet, please let me know or sign up at church.
Caleb Smith invited us to the TVCC choir performance this Friday at 7:30. He will be playing at the concert. If you love music and want to support Caleb this is your opportunity. The concert will be in the TVCC auditorium. There is an entry fee.
The United Methodist Men will have their monthly breakfast meeting at Erika’s Kitchen on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. All men are invited and encouraged to attend.
James and Pastor Mary Beth made it to Ohio safely very late Tuesday night. They both have relatives and friends in Ohio. Let’s pray for save travels around the state and back to us in a bit over a week.
Danny Crego will be filling in for Pastor Mary Beth this Sunday. We appreciate Danny and Annie so much!
The Finance Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 11th at noon in the fellowship hall.

Bonnie Hall has a good report about her sister-in-law Sigrid. She had a brain aneurism last week, was life flighted quickly and although she’ll be in a Boise hospital for a while, she should make a complete recovery. Praise God!

Please pray for my family as they travel from afar for the graveside service for my sister’s husband Bill which will be in Glenns Ferry this Saturday.

Anne DeBord asks us to pray for Jill Hanigan and her family. Jill is in hospice care and her large family has rallied around her. Anne and Jill have been friends for a very long time. Keep Jill, her family and friends in your prayers.

Please keep Lis Williamson in your prayers. She has been going through some medical issues.

Keep praying for these folks: Clarity, Hugh Homan, Irene Jeffries, Peyton, Shannon Osborn, Jerry Hall, Anne DeBord, Grace Hammon, the Taylor Family and Noah Howard.

Please remember this promise….. light shines out of the darkness.

Blessings,

Cris
