O Divine Master, grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

May the God of grace and glory go with you as you follow this Lenten path. Wherever it takes you, and to whomever it takes you, may you go with the blessing of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, both now and forever.
And now God, send us out to do your work. Invite us deeper into your world. Stir our hearts to outward focus, to seek those we often ignore. Help us focus on freedom and generosity; help us embody your justice and peace. Amen.

Anne DeBord had a surgical procedure on Wednesday. Keep her in your prayers.
Teresa Beer’s baby grandson Wesley will have surgery on March 27.

Upcoming Events

The Ad Board will meet this Monday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m. The trustees will not meet this month.
 
The funeral for Don Essinger will be at FUMC at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday.
 
Our Easter Egg Hunt will this Saturday, March 23rd. We will need help that day starting around noon. We will stuff the eggs today before and after church. Please help if you can.
 
Sign up for John and Dayton’s BBQ on the table in the fellowship hall. They will cook on March 29th.
 
Holy Week is approaching! We will have services on Thursday, March 28th and Friday, March 29th at 7:00 p.m.
