We are currently in the Season after Epiphany, which lasts for several weeks starting with the Feast of the Epiphany (January 6th) and ending on Ash Wednesday. This season is a distinct season in which we continually celebrate that Christ is for ALL people. The colors for this season are green and gold.

Call to Worship - Sharon Wada
One: You promised to send your messenger to prepare the way, and the Lord they seek will suddenly come to the temple. The messenger of the covenant is coming, as you have declared, O Lord of Hosts. Who can endure the day of your coming? Who can stand when you appear?
 
Many: The messenger is like a refiner’s fire or a cleanser’s soap. God’s messenger will purify the people, refining them like gold and silver, so that they will belong to the Lord and present righteous offerings.
 
One: The offerings of your people will be pleasing to the Lord, just as in days gone by.
 
Many: Just as Jesus lived his life as an offering to all people, so will we seek to do the same by doing justice, embracing faithful love, and walking humbly with you God. Amen.

God of all nations, peoples and cultures, you led the Magi to your love by the light of a star. Through this story, we know your love is destined for all. Guide us in the new ways of your Son. Let your light shine everywhere, that all people may praise you in their own way, and enrich your Church with their own gifts. Amen.
